"Yours are the fifth and sixth (R6 and R82s) set of plans I've ordered from four sources. I figure if I'm going to spend well over $5,000 and numerous months putting together a buggy, I'm better off spending a few hundred extra in the beginning to make sure I have a buggy I'll be happy with.
Anyway, your plans are by far the most detailed and complete. Very nice work, from the drawings to the detailed instructions."

C. G. - Temecula, California, U.S.A.

Don't confuse this buggy construction manual with the backyard type buggy plans advertised in the motoring press and elsewhere on the net.

This is not a jumped-up, off-road go-kart, or just a weekend recreational toy, but a full-on, two-seater racing machine with every aspect of performance, durability, and safety taken into consideration.

The R82s utilizes proper engineering grade materials – not just bits of black pipe and old quad and car parts!

The R82s (Rorty 8 series, 2-seater) is a new design for those looking for all the thrills of a single-seater bike powered race buggy, but with the addition of a passenger/navigator's seat.
The suspension is all new, and offers huge amounts of travel. The stable chassis design incorporates a longer wheel base and wider track than in previous models. This is the ideal pre-runner or play buggy for high speed trail chasing or dune running.

These plans have been carefully produced to enable competent fabricators and machinists to construct a superb racing buggy for themselves by following highly detailed and easy to read drawings.

More than just a collection of CAD drawings, this comprehensive manual puts bike-powered buggy racing within easy reach of every petrolhead!
The manual consists of the following:

  • 170 plus pages of clear instructions and 27 supporting pictures.

  • Materials list.

  • Fastener list.

  • Over 90 CAD drawings.

"I do quite a lot of work for Jaguar and Ford as a welder/fabricator and I gotta say these drawings are of better standard than the other two put together, thank you this is gonna be some sort of fun."
